A brass-framed, cream-painted mini-ITX build by an Australian maker found its way to our bench in Charlotte, and the craftsmanship left us impressed.

At MCS, we love building custom PCs. And we love to see what others build also. Somehow, someway, a system built by IG user @80ishplus, a system builder in Australia, made its way to a user here in Charlotte, and then to me for repairs.

I love the unique design. The system is a mini-ITX board holding a Ryzen 9 3900X, 32 GB of RAM, and two 2 TB NVMe SSDs. The frame is made of solid brass and quite heavy. 80ishplus also drilled special mounting holes, and custom-painted everything cream-colored so that it all matched. I'm very impressed.
